Each home owner’s situation is unique - we have tried to design a solution for each set of circumstances.
Trade In
For some homes, if it is in saleable condition, trading it in might be an option for you. The process is very simple - we simply buy the home from you, and deduct that value from the purchase price of the new home.
Before we can advise you on trade in value, we need to assess the home. It is best if you contact a Housing Consultant, and send us photos of the home.
We will need to know:
• the outstanding balance on any existing mortgages or financing on the home
• the make & model of the home, and the year it was built
• serial # and CSA # (you will need these numbers even if you intend to sell the home privately)
• the size of the home (length and width)
• number of bedrooms and bathrooms
• style of home (front living room or front kitchen)
• the type of roof (original or redone; metal or shingled; peaked or not)
• appliances you are including; age and condition
• age and condition of the furnace and hot water tank
• type of siding (metal; wood; or vinyl siding)
Assist In Selling Your Home
If the trade in program isn’t a practical solution, we can also assist our clients in the private sale of their existing home. We can advise you on all the parts of the process and help you market your home for sale on our website – AT NO COST. Our experience has proved that most of our sellers only need to show their homes a few times, rather than 10-15 times to achieve a sale.
Demolition & Disposal
The unfortunate reality for some older “mobile” homes is that they were built to a different building code than is used today and they often are not structurally sound enough to survive another move. For home owners with homes built prior to 1989, sometimes the simplest solution is to have the home demolished. We have a demolition crew specially trained for this type of work.
Please contact a Housing Consultant today for more details on any of these solutions.
