So Long Summer Festival

Please come out and join us in Berwyn this weekend! On Saturday, the Village is hosting its annual ‘So Long Summer Festival’ with the focus on family fun. Festivities kick off at 11 am at the Legion Hall with an art show, trade show and parade of programs to highlight everything Berwyn has to offer. On Main Street, there will be fun for everyone, including bouncy castles, face painting, street hockey, cake auction and a street dance, to name a few.    Jandel Homes will be hosting YL Country on location at our show home and we will have a booth set up at the trade show in the Legion Hall.  Stop by our show home and enter our ‘Home and Away Contest’ - we’ll be doing a random draw, no purchase necessary, for two Gold Club tickets to an Edmonton Oilers game in January. Meet the President of Jandel Homes

Mark Huchulak, Owner and President at Jandel Homes, has decades of experience in the modular home building industry. After graduating from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration in 1982, Mark has devoted his career to sales, management and consulting. He is a veteran of the modular and manufactured housing industry, with more than 25 years’ experience.    After partnering with his father and brother at Jandel Homes in 1991, Mark went on to become sole proprietor and President of the organization in 2009. Mark has been very active with the Modular Housing Association, Prairie Provinces, throughout his career. He served on the Board of Directors as a Director for nine years and as President for three terms. He is now serving on the Board of Directors of the national association, the Canadian Manufactured Housing Institute. We asked him two questions for the purpose of this blog entry. Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer

The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer is an epic two-day cycling event that spans over 200 km through the Rockies. It has raised over $42.6 million for the Alberta Cancer Foundation since its inception in 2009. The funds that are raised go directly to research, trials, new equipment and support for the pople that are diagnosed as well as their families. Jandel Homes is pleased to support this amazing event and we are very proud of our team, the Hill’s Angels. To date, they have raised $6,087 for the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer, giving them a total of $13,462 in fundraising efforts this summer alone.
